Have anyone taken the weight loss pill called acia berry? If so does it work?
January 19, 2009 - I really need to lose some weight and I brought this weight loss pill i know some of u r saying do it the natural way but I am way over 200lb so if anyone have taken the product could u let me know how it worked for u.
- I have tried some weight loss tricks with acia berry, and it does work, but the pill version of anything causes alot of mood swings, its the chemical they use to keep it together...so just make sure not to hurt anyone!! :)
my wife never had great luck with it. Seems like a bunch of hype. She has been having a lot of luck with a pill called Xenical. Here is some info on it i pulled from a site in google: Xenical is a gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor used in the management of obesity in adult and adolescent patients age 12 and older. This medicine may be used during the weight loss phase or following weight loss to assist in weight management. Generic Xenical works by inhibiting the digestion of fats from the diet, and should be used with a reduced-calorie diet.
- I know a kid who is in a coma from taking weight loss pills. I don't know which ones he took but I think they are all pretty bad for you. Do it the old fashioned way and hit the gym.
- That stuff is so bad for you, just go to the gym and eat right. It's all your mentality and your dedication, not that hard.
- there are acaia berry smoothies which help weight loss if regime is correct. the natural way is probably safer than pills which lemme guess say they are natural. probablly bs and a scam
- I used to be around your weight, and I tried acai and a bunch of other stuff. You should maybe go to a trainer and ask about your body type - my trainer recommended an energy pill called 8 hour energy (NOT 5 hour energy), and I've lost like 18 pounds so far... which is INSANE for me.

- Not really sure what I would recommend to you specifically. - Although I don't know that much about the Acia Berry Supplement, I think it is important to note that berries in general are excellent sources of antioxidants! That means they are excellent for your health, but that doesn't mean they will help you lose weight. If this supplement is claiming that it helps you to lose weight, then they probably add unsafe ingredients along with the berry. Instead of buying this, buy fresh or frozen berries and other produce from your local store/natural food store. I strongly suggest avoiding diet pills in general, since very few have any real scientific data behind them (even those that claim they do end up having a mere 1-2 trials whereas truly scientific things have 100s of trials over many years). Instead, it is best to focus on overall nutrition and exercise. Even if you ignore the losing weight part at first, improving your nutrition is going to make you feel much healthier! I actually was looking up information about how important antioxidants and phytochemicals are for you. It is a lot more difficult to fit in all of these than it is to just count calories, but they are still very important for your health. Overall, I believe there are over 100 types of these little nutritional wonders. LOTS! On top of that, some types can only be found in one or just a couple specific food type! Actually, this can be said for olive oil, beets, and garlic! If you never eat beets, you are actually missing several different antioxidants! - Acai berry is a great antioxidant, but for losing weight it's worthless. It's just another way for somebody to make money. It's always one fad or another. If you're serious about losing weight you have to eat nutritious food and get exercise. You have to burn more calories than you consume, but never go below 1200 calories a day or your body will go into starvation mode.
